In a one-on-one session we want to help you overcome whatever obstacles you´re facing in your writing process – whether it´s lyrics, melody, harmony, rhythm or arrangement.
We usually just listen for the first few minutes because the ingredient that makes your song special is you! Understanding what motivated and moved you to start writing that particular song is crucial to the process! It´s not about “fixing” or “correcting” your song – it´s about enriching it and giving it shape. Thus, our role is to offer you ideas of what could be added, omitted or altered without destroying the spirit that sparked the song in the first place. However it remains entirely your song and you decide which direction it goes.
We will help you see the song from a bird´s eye perspective to outmaneuver typical pitfalls, will get granular on details and will help you find out when it´s time for one or the other.
It´s common for a song to be about 10% of inspiration and 90% of work.
So don´t give up! Book one of our songwriting one-on-ones instead.
